Modernism
Modernism originates in the 20th century, primarily in the early years. It focus son the idea of experimenting with reality and the representation that is present in reality. A strong focus of the valuing of judgements is involved.

TRADITIONAL
  • At best: meaningful, engrossing, moving
  • At worst: deceptive, sentimental
POSTMODERN
  • At best: playful, curious, startling
  • At worst: detached, sexist, despairing, homophobic, racist
